Years ago I had an auto accident at night whereupon my then father-in-law sat up in bed and said “Something happened to Hank.” I of course was amazed. I’d heard of such things but it’s stunning when remarkable events happen to you.

How did information from my brain get into his, particularly when I wasn’t thinking about him?

Here I have to emphasize to you that I am intensely fact based. I had a career in TV and radio news and was a business-magazine editor. My beliefs are based on what I honestly think is the best, hard evidence. I’m not religious though I fully support religious freedom.

At the time of my accident I was not into physics or the nature of consciousness. But I very much have been over the last 20 years and those subjects underlie the information on this site. That and the incredible afterlife-communications I’ve fortunately and excitedly received.

There was no way I sent a message directly from my brain to my father-in-law’s, who was 50 miles away. The human brain operates on just 20 watts of power. The signals it generates are detectable only about a half inch from the head and then only with specialized equipment. For the brain to send a signal even a few inches is impossible.

Having been immersed in physics and studies of consciousness combined with my special experiences, I believe I know what’s going on.

I am convinced that consciousness is a universal field of awareness containing all minds and that those of us who are like-minded constantly communicate thru this field – both minds that are still embodied and those in the afterlife, or in free consciousness. I would add in joyous free consciousness. The evidence for this – I submit – is overwhelming, overpowering.

Across thousands of years of human history people have had experiences that are explainable only as communications from external intelligence – that is – from other minds. Science comes along and says well this can’t happen because we can’t explain this physically – can’t replicate it in the lab or develop equations for it. All of those countless events never happened. Breathtaking arrogance! Science will not explain the non-physical – consciousness – in physical terms, by physical mechanisms. It is absurd to say the inert material of the brain generates our identities and personalities – all our sensations and experiences of life. Mind from matter is a preposterous notion.

My father-in-law and I were very close friends. So our minds were entrained. When I had my accident, information from it flowed into the consciousness field and my father-in-law picked it up. I see no other explanation.
